The Practice Behind the Work

Where Story Becomes Witness

Driven by curiosity and the power of storytelling, I’ve turned passion into purpose at every step of my journey.

Kim Nicole Holl

I am a listener first.  A quiet witness.

For more than twenty years, my work has lived at the intersection of storytelling, facilitation, and deep presence—creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be seen as they are.

Through film, reflection, and community-based storytelling, I gather moments of lived wisdom and quiet truth. These are not stories shaped by scripts or performance, but by attention, dignity, and trust. What matters most to me is not what is said, but what becomes visible when someone feels truly witnessed—a space where walls soften, differences dissolve, and connection quietly bridges the divides between us.

This work lives at the confluence of wisdom and wonder—where experience meets awe, and human essence reveals itself naturally.

Stories Told on Film is both a body of work and a living practice. It continues to evolve, guided by listening rather than agenda, and shaped by the people and moments it is invited to serve.

I believe being deeply seen is one of the most empowering experiences we can offer one another.

Stories Told on Film is an evolving storytelling practice devoted to witnessing human essence—where wisdom meets wonder, and presence reveals what matters most.
