Capturing the beauty of the human soul.

At the heart of this work is a simple devotion:  to slow down long enough to truly see one another.

For over twenty years, I’ve worked at the intersection of film, facilitation, and deep listening—capturing moments where something essential reveals itself. These are not stories shaped by performance or perfection, but by presence, dignity, and lived experience.

Whether through short films, community-based storytelling, or quiet moments of reflection, my work lives at the confluence of wisdom and wonder—where human essence becomes visible, and something within us remembers.

This is an empowering process.
To be witnessed.
To be heard beneath the words.
To be met as you are.

The stories shared here are offerings—created for individuals, communities, and organizations who believe that meaning, beauty, and wisdom matter.

The film held such power for me, not only as a vehicle for re-living some precious, though painful moments, but as a journey through my experience of loss.

You did such a masterful job in putting the pieces together and I am very grateful to you.

Behind the Lens

This film illuminates my passion for the art of witnessing—a practice that breathes life into every frame. Filmed remotely in France by my colleague John Oliver, it captures our conversation, inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin’s words: ‘We must find a story big enough to inhabit.’

Stories Told on Film is an evolving storytelling practice devoted to witnessing human essence—where wisdom meets wonder, and presence reveals what matters most.
