In January, I shared that I was on a hiatus, not from purpose, but a cosmic pause.  (If you didn’t catch that Newsletter, you can read it here here.)

Now, as spring approaches, I feel the call to extend my hiatus. I’ve decided to temporarily pause my business to focus on self-care, creativity, and preparing new offerings for Stories Told on Film, scheduled for the fall of 2024.

During my break from client films, I’ll be dedicating time to my Social Impact project. I’m exploring film projects that shed light on important contemporary issues. I’ll share more details as these projects develop.

In addition to my ‘day job’ four days a week, I’ve been devoting a significant amount of time to caregiving and advocating for my husband since his workplace accident nearly five years ago. Taking this time to nurture my own well-being is the best medicine I can give myself. I know that I shall return with renewed energy and a fresh new lens.

I shall keep you posted!

CHANGE

Using storytelling as a tool for transformation, a percentage of our proceeds from client films go towards producing films that shine a compassionate light on the issues of our time, awakening empathy, mindful activism and our collective longing to belong through the power of story. Reflecting upon our footprint, we can make a difference with the time we have and thoughtfully live out our legacy. Our time is short.
